Homemade Dishwasher Detergent and Rinse Agent

I just made up a batch of this soap for the dish washer. I will let you all know how it works out for us. We have REALLY hard water so I added extra Lemishine and more salt.

Homemade Dishwasher Detergent [Soap] and Rinse Agent.

UPDATE:

The soap is working wonderfully. I have needed to add a bit more Lemishine (as I said, REALLY hard water) Other than that, it is working as well as any other detergents we have tried. You really only need a little bit. I found that an old film canister is about 2 TBSP and that is just about the right amount.

  1. I tried it out, and it seems to work pretty well. Might need to add a bit more Lemishine as we have very HARD water. But the dishes came out clean!
